OnestopTaxPrep was formed in 2009 and headed by Ashwin Dwarkasing.
Now with over 17 years of specialization in international Dutch and U.S. Income Tax for individuals, Ashwin started his career in 1998 with the international tax division of PricewaterhouseCoopers NV in Amsterdam. At Pricewaterhouse Coopers he specialized in providing integrated Dutch and U.S. consultancy to expats and their employers, mainly large multinationals. In 2005, Ashwin joined TaXpat BV in Amsterdam focusing more on personal Dutch and U.S. taxation matters of the expats. A first step towards better addressing the needs of the most important factor; the person behind the tax return.
Since February 2013, Anela has been assisting Dutch and U.S. taxpayers with their income tax concerns. Anela obtained her law degree in 2009 at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, after which she worked as a legal associate at Wolf Theiss. In 2013 she achieved her LL.M. degree in International and European Law at the University of Amsterdam. Anela joined onestopTaxPrep as an intern and discovered her passion for taxation. Now as a certified U.S. tax preparer (Enrolled Agent), her focus is on U.S. corporate taxation with continued assistance of U.S. individuals. Anela is also our office manager and main point of contact for our Croatian/CEE clients.
Lyritza joined the onestopTaxPrep team in February of 2015. She studied International Business Management while working at ING Bank as a mortgage professional. Leaving ING after 10 years, she educated herself in graphic and web design. Now, finding her place at onestopTaxPrep, she focuses mainly on all matters related to Dutch taxation. Besides individual income tax, she also provides entrepreneurs with Dutch tax and administrative services. Lyritza will be finishing her Dutch Tax Law course in 2016.
Lauma joined onestopTaxPrep in January 2016. She has graduated with distinction The Hague University of Applied Sciences, obtaning LL.B. degree in International and European Law with specialisation in commercial law. Lauma has an academic background in international and European taxation, multinationals and corruption and international investment law as well as in Latvian national law. She has written LL.B. thesis arguing the unfair and unproportionate effects of citizenship-based taxation on U.S. expatriates. Her experience in working and studying in multicultural environment gives her better understanding of the needs of international clients.
Paul is an American expatriate and long-term Dutch resident who joined the onestopTaxPrep team in 2016. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Paul began his career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse in Boston, Massachusetts. With an international business career that spans more than 20 years, he has lived and worked in several European countries. Paul currently focuses on tax projects involving U.S. individuals.
